We take a proactive approach to our design process, our first task is always to carry out a full marketing campaign targeting a certain area or industry. We will then send out number of promotional and direct mail leaflets/brochures to target potential clients. If a client likes what they hear, we offer them a contact telephone number, and we then arrange to meet up with the client to discuss their new website ideas. Back at our office we then put these ideas on paper and into digital design, before getting back to the client with the aim of putting the design into action. We carry out a full deign checklist to ensure nothing is missed and that both the client and ourselves agree on the task in hand. That's not all, we work closely with our clients once the project has gone "live" to ensure everything runs smoothly, and that any upgrades are carried out as and when needed. We also extend out services to include staff training, 24/7 troubleshooting and full E-mail and FTP Support.

Research

We take all our work seriously here at Fantastic Flash Designs. Before starting on a new project our first priority is always to gather as much information from you as we can. This includes information about your organisation, it's size, its vision etc etc. We can then decide on an appropriate course of action that suits both parties. This is one of the most time consuming stages in our development life-cycle, but it's important if we are going to meet your needs first time.

Proposal

After our initial meeting, we will return to our office, and put together a comprehensive proposal, outlining the way ahead for the website design. This will include deadlines, project scope, cost and milestones.

Domain Name registration and website Hosting

We can if you require, create a new domain name for your business, or we can simply use your existing domain name if you already have one. We can also arrange website hosting for your new site. All our clients websites are hosted on either a Windows or Linux platform and this would depend upon your requirements. If however you already have purchased hosting for your website, leave it to us and we can work around that, no problem!.

Design

At the initial design stage, we will create several designs for you (design prototypes), from which you can choose from. We will not push you on this, and we will leave this decision with you for several days, until you make up your mind. When you decide on a final design, we can finally get started!

Development

After the site design is confirmed, we can then begin on the serious work of the development of the site. This is where our team of expert designers and developers come into their own. Again we will work with you throughout this process, to resolve any concerns or issues you may have, before continuing on to the next stage.

Testing

This is probably the most overlooked stage. Before handing over your website, we will fully test it for accessibility. We will achieve this by viewing your website on a number of different browsers to ensure full compatibility, so nothing is left to chance. We will also ensure that the website meets the W3C standards for accessibility, it's only then that we will agree on the final completion of the site with you!
